This CD presents 26 high resolution digital BMP images from the 1837 First
edition of THE SPIRIT OF THE WOODS . These images can be printed in their
original size directly from the CD. They can also be imported to Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro, Adobe PhotoDelux, Print Master and
other popular painting and drawing programs and printed on quality inkjet paper
producing stunning results suitable for framing. Or for designing your own
greeting cards, posters, brochures and calendars.
"THE SPIRIT OF THE WOODS" is an enchanting botanical/art/ Victorian
period piece - 1837 London. Rebecca Hey as an anonymous work authored and
illustrated this very rare book. She also was the author of "THE MORAL OF
THE FLOWERS (Images also available on CD)". The deep rich hues and shade of
green are strikingly exquisite. This work is a true labor of love by a lady who
discovered the spirit of the woods 173 years ago.
This CD contains the entire collection of original
images as well as a set which has been digitally enhanced in the transfer to CD
as in the scan below. These
