The sixty plates depict the birds in a natural setting, most frequently at
one-third life size. Plates XXVI and XXVII depict a hawk on a falconer's
gauntlet and a variety of gear

Binding rubbed and inner flaps defective and with repairs; first plate a touch
spotted; some marginal spotting and staining outside image. Title leaves age
toned. Overall extremely clean.
