Every Lady Her Own Flower Gardener. Addressed to the Industrious and Economical Only. By Louisa Johnson (title on front cover is given as "The Lady's Flower Gardener").
13th edition published in London by W. S. Orr in 1851. 6.5 inches by 4 inches. viii, 136pp. Delightful hand colored frontispiece and hand colored vignette on title page plus a plain title page.
Original limp covers are somewhat worn and faded and a bit frayed on ends of spine. Colored title page has some grubby marks on it and other marks in the text on a few pages. Inscription on front paste down endpaper. The free front endpaper is a little tight in the gutter - probably been re-secured at some point but done a little too enthusiastically. Blue biro scribble on the rear endpaper. First page of text has come loose but contents still complete. ORDER# LFG2 PRICE: $85.00
